Admission Policy

Requirement for Admission to Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program:

Intermediate or Equivalent Marks minimum	60%
Age limit	16-30 Years

Documents required to be attached with Application Form:

Attested photocopies of the following document must be attached with the admission form at the time of submission of form.

1. Properly and neatly filled admission form.
2. 04 attested copies of Matric Marks Sheet or transcripts of equivalent examinations
3. 04 attested copies of Matric Certificate or IBCC Equivalence Certificate of equivalent Examination.
4. 04 attested copies of Intermediate Marks Sheet or Transcript of equivalent examination.
5. 04 attested copies of Intermediate Certificate / Provisional Certificate issued by Board of Intermediate Education or School authorities where studied.
6. 04 attested copies of CNIC of candidate.
7. 04 attested copies of B- Form from NADRA if age is below 18 years.
8. 04 attested copies of CNIC of Father.
9. 04 attested copies of Domicile Certificate of Candidate.
10. 04 attested copies of PRC Certificate on Form " C ".
11. 04 attested copies along with Original Migration Certificate in case Intermediate passed from other than Karachi Board.
12. 06 photograph without attestation.
13. An affidavit on Rs.50/- to be attested by the " Justice of Peace " is required to be submitted once admission is done at the time of deposition of 1st semester fee. Specimen of affidavit will be provided by the Institution.

Note: Original Documents will be required at the time of deposition of fee or before start of classes.

Requirement for Admission to Post RN BS Nursing Program at Dr. Ruth Pfau College of Nursing, Abu Zafar Institute of Medical Sciences:

• Matric with Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics as compulsory subjects) Or Matric Arts as per HEC Notification No.8 (61)/A&A/2018/HEC/5998 dt. 06.04.2018.
• Passed 03 Years General Nursing Examination from any PNC recognized Institute.
• Passed one year Post Basic Specialization Diploma in any discipline.
• One Year Experience as RN

Selection Criteria / Merit Formulating Formula:

The admissions will be offered on the basis of overall merit attained by applicant. Merit will be determined on the basis of formula laid down below.

• 3. Specialization Diploma                                                        10%
• 4. Interview                                                                                10%

Requirement for Admission to Post Basic Specialization in Cardiac Nursing Program at Dr. Ruth Pfau College of Nursing, Abu Zafar Institute of Medical Sciences:

Passed 03 Years General Nursing Examination from any PNC recognized Institute and registered with PNC as RN.

Requirement for Admission to 18 month Institutional Diploma Courses in:

1. NICU - Neonatal ICU Technician
2. PICU - Pediatric ICU Technician
3. ICU - Intensive Care Unit Technician
4. Respiratory Therapy Technician
5. Laboratory Sciences
6. Health Care / Nursing Assistant
7. Phlebotomist

For Diploma courses of 18 months candidate must passed Matriculation Examination (SSC-II) with at least 45% marks in Science Group with Biology.
